GPSC is proud to present the success of the GPSC YSI project at the 2020 6th World Invention Innovation Contest (WiC) in Seoul, Korea, leading three teams of young innovators won two golds and a silver medal, illustrating Thai kids’ creativity in building upon local resources and develop environmentally-friendly energy technology.
Mr. Narongchai Visutrachai, Senior Vice President Government Relations and Public Affairs of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, revealed that Korea Invention News has recently announced the result of the 2020 6th World Invention Innovation Contest (WiC) in Seoul, Korea, in which three teams of young Thai innovators, who had won the first and the runner-up prizes from the GPSC Young Social Innovator 2019 (GPSC YSI), submitted their innovation projects and won two gold medals, one silver medal, and three special awards from the Korean organizations aiming to promote innovation development. The victory marks a success for Thai youths who were able to reach the final round of international innovation contest two years in a row, showing their creativity in building upon local resources and create environmentally-friendly energy technology that could be further extended to Thailand’s future energy development.
