GPSC has been included in this year's S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2021, marking the company's first time taking part in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index assessment. GPSC was given the second-highest score in the Electric Utilities category in Thailand, affirming its status as a global leader in sustainable energy innovation.
Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, revealed that having taken part in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) assessment by S&P Global for the first time and being recognized for the outstanding sustainable business operations with the second-highest score among the other Thai companies in the Electric Utilities category as well as being included in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2021 are considered a major success for the company.

For the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) in 2020, the sustainability performance of over 7,000 companies in over 60 industries was rated across the economic, environmental, and social dimensions. The top 15 percent of the companies from each industry will be included in the globally-recognized Sustainability Yearbook.
